Pattaya Beach, Koh Lipe is the island's busiest beach, a curve of very white sand along the southern shore. It shares nothing but a name with the mainland resort city; this is a small island beach a few hundred metres long.

Pattaya Beach is Koh Lipe's busiest beach, a curve of very white sand along the southern shore. It shares nothing but a name with the mainland resort city; this is a small island beach a few hundred metres long.
It is the island's arrival point. Ferries and speedboats moor offshore and passengers are brought in by longtail to a floating pier, so a stay on Lipe usually begins with wet feet. Most of the larger resorts, along with dive shops and restaurants, back onto this beach.
The water is shallow, clear and calm in season. Walking Street runs inland from the middle of the beach and connects across to Sunrise Beach in a few minutes.
