From Ao Nang to Phuket
Sunny Journey: From Ao Nang to Phuket
Phuket is a mountainous island in the Andaman Sea. It has some of the most beautiful beaches in Thailand. The weather in Phuket varies between warm, cool, and rainy. But it never gets too cold though.
If you think that Phuket is all about beaches and it has no culture, you may be surprised. You will find that there’s more to Thailand than the most popular beaches, sand, sea, and sun. To discover Phuket's rich history, vibrant markets, and charming old shophouses, simply head to the island's east coast. Phuket Town is the cultural capital. It offers insights into the island's history and bustling markets.
You can take a ferry from Phuket to the famous Koh Phi Phi or visit the mystical Phang Nga Bay. You will easily find many trips from Phuket to enjoy Krabi and all the nearby islands.
When booking your ferry tickets for an island getaway, paying attention to departure times is crucial. It will ensure a seamless and enjoyable journey. Flexible departure times can make your travel experience much better. It enables you to select a schedule that best suits your plans and preferences.
During a ferry trip, reliable customer service is like a helpful companion. They're there to quickly address questions, concerns, or any last-minute changes, ensuring a stress-free and smooth journey. So, it's always reassuring to know that help is just a call or a chat away when you're out at sea. When planning your trip, make sure to give careful consideration to departure times when booking your tickets. This, coupled with excellent customer service, will ensure you get the most out of your maritime adventure.
Thai is the official language in Thailand. But you can find that tourist operators speak English but still, just to be safe, you might need to carry a Thai phrasebook.
The ferries operate daily during the high season (November to April), in low season (May to October) the ferries operate on Sunday, Wednesday, and Friday.
From Nopparat Thara Pier to Rassada Pier
Please note that from July to October, operators may provide Speed Boats instead of a ferry with no extra charge due to boat maintenance.
Best time to visit
From December to March is the best time to visit Phuket for beach activities. You can enjoy the good weather and the small crowd in the month of November. If the crowd doesn’t bother you, then December and January bring the most amazing weather of all. The other six months are monsoon season, the lodging prices are way lower these months but the water can be dangerous, and it is hard to find a trip by ferry or a speedboat because of the water conditions.
