From Koh Phi Phi to Phuket by boat

There are two piers on Phi Phi islands. Tonsai Pier is the island’s main pier. The other one is Laemtong Bay. It is not an actual pier. It is a natural bay that serves only four resorts: P.P Erawan Palms Resort, Zeavola, Holiday Inn Resort Phi Phi Island, and Phi Phi Natural Resort.

On the other side, Phuket has 3 piers. Rassada Pier is the main pier and most of the trips depart and arrive there. The other ones are Numchai Pier and Sea Angel Pier.

From Laemtong Bay to Rassada Pier

If you’re staying at one of the four resorts mentioned above, then this trip is for you! The ferry will leave Laemtong Bay, make a small stop at Tonsai Pier to switch boats and depart straight to Rassada Pier.

Since they are the main piers for both islands, you will find plenty of trips. From TonSai Pier the ferry trip is direct and hassle free.

Speedboat ferries are also an option from this pier. It’s a more luxurious and a faster way to reach your destination. Yet it’s not suitable for people with heart conditions or back problems, infants, and pregnant women.

From Tonsai Pier to Numchai Pier

The journey from Phi Phi Tonsai Pier to Numchai Pier in Thailand is easily accessible with a ferry ticket. Several ferry operators (such as Phi Phi Cruiser) provide this service, allowing travelers to enjoy the scenic ride while making their way from the beautiful Ton Sai Beach area to the mainland.

From Tonsai Pier to Sea Angel Pier

The journey from Tonsai Pier to Sea Angel Pier in Thailand is a brief and straightforward ferry ride. Sea Angel Pier is located just 10 minutes from Phuket Town.

Phuket enjoys warm temperatures year-round, with the prime visiting window spanning November to March, marked by dry weather, calm seas, and the cessation of rains.
