Koh Phi Phi is a group of six islands yet, technically there are only two islands that people mostly visit “Phi Phi Don” which is the bigger and most popular and “ Phi Phi Leh” it’s smaller than Phi Phi Don and only accessible by fishing boats or by tours.

From Phuket to Phi Phi Island by boat

The only way to getting to Koh Phi Phi is by boat, the nearest airports to the island are Phuket International Airport and Krabi Airport

From Rassada Pier to Tonsai Pier

Rassada Pier is Phuket’s main pier, there are plenty of ferries and speedboats depart this pier daily to Tonsai Pier.

There are ferries departing from 8:30 AM till 3 afternoon. The ferry trip takes around 1H30 Minutes and costs 450 THB “ the price does not include 400 THB entry fees, 200 THB for childrens in Phi Phi”.

The speedboat is a faster way to reach the island yet it’s more expensive.

The speedboat trip costs around 800 THB and takes 50 Minutes to reach the island.


From Rassada Pier to Laemtong Bay

The ferry departs Rassada Pier to reach Laemtong Bay in 1 hrs 30 mins. This trip costs 800 THB “ the price does not include 400 THB entry fees in Phi Phi”, 200 THB for childrens.

From Sea Angel Pier to Tonsai Pier

Sea Angel Pier is located near Phuket town just 10 minutes away. Ferries leave this pier at 9:00 AM and arrive at Phi Phi around 11:00 AM
