Laem Nok Beach, Koh Yao Yai
Laem Nok is toward the southern end of Koh Yao Yai, the larger and much less visited of the two Yao islands. The coast here is largely undeveloped - beach, trees, and very little else.
Koh Yao Yai is roughly twice the size of Koh Yao Noi with a fraction of the visitors. It is a Muslim island of rubber and fishing, and the roads run for long stretches with nothing on them.
Water on this coast is shallow and tidal. Come for the quiet and the bay views rather than for facilities, of which there are few.
